The Chaperone also features a bar that minimizes the child being thrown forward and back so strongly that the result is spinal damage. It features a handle that really makes carrying this seat much easier on your arms and back. A head restraint that can be adjusted easily is also a great benefit. Britax Boulevard Car Seat: A Top Notch Convertible Seat The Britax Boulevard Car Seat is a highly rated and much loved by users car carrier. This is a convertible which means that you use it as a rear facing seat from 5 pounds(newborn) to 40 pounds. Then it's turned forward and used in that position until your child reaches the weight of around 70 pounds. That means use for quite a few years. What I really like is the length of time you can use it as a rear facing seat. Most rear facing seats are only in use up to 20-30 pounds. 40 pounds means that you get the safety advantages rear facing for that much longer before it must be turned forward.

When you purchase the Frontier, it’s truly the last seat you’ll ever need. It serves as a forward facing seat from 25- 85 pounds and then as a booster for youngsters that range from 85-120 pounds. It’s safe, easy to install and extremely comfortable. The Britax car seat company doesn’t make a poor quality seat. From the infant only carrier to the Boulevard car seat and ending with the booster, I’ve only seen consistent quality. I’ve done a review of the Britax Boulevard Car Seat and will be doing another of the Britax booster. I only review seats that I’m sold on myself and these seats definitely qualify.
