Build a Website About Your Passion

Have you ever thought about reaching out to help people and also getting paid for doing it? What about if it was also something that you’re interested in or passionate about?

I hope you’ve read the About Jerry page on this site which is a little about why I came to build this website. I found a niche I thought people wanted information about and would help people which is one of my passions.

I’ve been a social worker, a teacher and had a few of my own businesses but there was one common thread running through everything I’ve done. I enjoy and get a great deal of satisfaction out of helping people.

Passion and Money?

So is it possible to do something you like or are passionate about and make money too? I strongly believe the money will come if you’re doing something you enjoy. I believe it’s especially true if you’re helping people.

Technically Challenged?

I built a few sites using tutorials and books that I’d bought that told me how easy it would be. They claimed that even if you were “technically challenged”, you could build a great site. Technically challenged described me perfectly.

Well I built a couple of websites and there is only one word for them: ugly! They are not only ugly but there’s no traffic coming to them either. Which now that I think about it is probably a good thing.

I was very frustrated with not being able to build a decent website and then somehow I found SBI(Site Build It). I saw how they offered step-by-step guides to build a website that was attractive, received a lot of traffic and could make money. In other words, a website that works.

Beginning the Adventure

When I first started my SBI adventure I wasn’t sure what my website should be about. Part of what you learn is how to narrow down your ideas to one perfect concept. Thus Car Seats Reviews was created.

The beauty of SBI is that it helps you put a subject that you are passionate about together with a plan to make income from that passion. I’d been looking for something like that most of my life.

As I write this, carseats-reviews.com is 1 year old and I’m up to a little less than 8,000 visitors a month! I’m proud of that. Traffic is increasing every month and so is income from my site.

I love to travel and especially to Mexico. I’m in Mexico now for the winter thanks to SBI. It’s helping to supplement my retirement and I work on this site whenever I feel like it on my laptop here. My story is pretty common with SBI. Read some other motivating stories here.

Change Your Life

SBI courses are taught in 25 universities all over the world. Learning how to build a website(a business) has changed my life. I can help people make decisions about which car seats are safe, comfortable and will still fit their budgets. I’m giving help because that’s what I enjoy doing and I’m getting income also.
