I want to do a few Safety First carrier reviews here for those looking for cheap seats. Safety First makes baby carriers that are very popular and are definitely on the lower end of the price scale.
The Safety First Alpha Omega Elite convertible car seat has many nice reviews on Amazon. Today it has 303 user reviews and an average review of 4 out of 5 stars possible. Not bad for a low priced seat.
The Alpha Omega Elite is selling now for $99.99 on Amazon. It’s a rear facing seat for newborns through the weight of 35 pounds. It can be turned to face forward and fit children from 22-40 pounds. I don’t recommend doing this as it’s safer to keep your little one rear facing for as long as possible.
The seat then converts to a booster until a youngster reaches the weight of 100 pounds. The company says that this might be the only seat you’ll ever need and they could be right.

This seat is to be considered when your little one is growing out of a rear facing seat. This seat is designed to be front facing from 22-40 pounds.
Until 40 pounds the seat is basically a harnessed booster seat. The seat then is a belt positioned booster until your children reach the weight of approximately 100 pounds.
